Welcome to "Reconnecting..." for March. 

Several years ago a wonderful and wise teacher told me that I have the gift of seeing beyond the obvious to the truth of a situation or person.  At the time I hoped that one day that might be true, and I certainly had glimpses of this from time to time.  What I have come to realise as I work with people through Reconnective Healing and Colourworks is that I do indeed see the ‘truth’ of people.  What I see when I work with you is your beauty, your colour, your particular energy.  Rather than focusing on your blockages, your stuck places, your hindrances, I see rather who you truly are, who you have always been, who you can become.

I’ve also become aware that the more we focus on seeing the divinity within everyone and every situation, the more we feed that person or situation with love.  Conversely, the more we criticise, pity or condemn, the more negativity we direct at that situation or person.  Remember the power of the words 'I am'.  Each time we state and re-state that we are angry, wrong, useless etc, or that someone else is these things, we simply continue to make that the truth.  

Consider your relationship to the Earth and life on this planet.  Consider your judgements about how you and others live.  Each time we bemoan what’s going on, each time we criticise, judge and throw negativity at all the situations we encounter (and let’s face, most of us are pretty good at doing this), we simply add to the negativity already surrounding the situation.  Each time we offer up the vision of the Earth and her people living in peace, harmony and love, we add that to the universal equation.

I'm including here a quote from Dr Wayne Dyer's latest book, "Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling" as it seems to sum this up rather nicely:

"I don’t find it necessary to change anyone or anything that I encounter or read about in my daily life. Each time that I’m tempted to, I catch myself and return to a mind-set that calls to me to be more like God, right here and right now. I stay inspired by making an energetic shift within myself; when I do, the world looks completely different, and I move inwardly toward peace and kindness. The energetic shift is merely a way of processing people and events from the insight of being unified with the All-Creating Source-that is, by eschewing judgment and allowing the world to be as it is, rather than as I think it should be. I stay inspired by encouraging others to live out their destiny and allowing the world to unfold as it will..."

This month I would like to offer you a challenge:  to stop and notice when you have a judgement around someone or something (including yourself) and to turn it around.  Where you might want to criticise, blame or judge, how would it be, instead, to envision the highest and most wonderful outcome for the person or situation?  And then to let yourself feel that, see it, know it to be so – and let it go…

Book of the Month:  Messages from Water by Dr. Masaru Emoto

The beautiful ‘Messages from Water’ series by Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto will be a revelation to anyone who has yet to discover that we truly do create our own reality.  Dr Emoto has photographed hundreds of pure water crystals after exposing them to thoughts, words, feelings and music and the results are simply astonishing.  The photos show us how profoundly water is impacted by the messages it receives, and when we recognise that we are composed of at least 70% water, the implications speak for themselves. 

Dr Emoto’s work also has powerful implications for the waters of the Earth.  You only have to see the photograph of a water crystal from London tap water and those from a pure water source to begin to understand just how important this resource is…

Practitioner Mentoring

Earth Talk

This month we have two eclipses, the first being a lunar eclipse today, 14 March, and the second a solar eclipse on 29 March at the new moon.  The equinox on 20 March is a time when night and day are of equal length and the planet is in perfect balance.  With all this activity, March is a very powerful time for healing and transformation.  Just to add to the picture, Mercury is retrograde for much of March, making this a good time to go within, seek connection with your higher self and allow your purpose to unfold.
