Welcome to "Reconnecting..." for January.

Happy New Year to you all. This month I want to talk about passion. What better way to start the year!

What are you passionate about? Do you know? Is it something you get paid to do? A hobby? A relationship? A talent or skill you have?

How much of your life do you spend doing things that are aligned with your passion? If the answer is 'not much', and you're not feeling too happy about that, your soul is trying to get your attention. Why do you think we feel depressed, lonely, frustrated and bored when we're spending too much time doing things we don't feel passionate about? It's a call from our deeper selves, our higher selves: "Look, you're out of alignment! What are you doing this for? How can you set yourself free from this?" And you can. Never, ever believe you 'have' to do things which make your heart sink and your soul scurry for the nearest black hole. You always have choices. There are always options. And the more you take the time to tune in to what that higher aspect of yourself is saying to you, the clearer it becomes. Take action! Open yourself up to the wisdom and guidance that flows incessantly through the universe - it's unlimited, so why not tap into it?

Passion takes us from the ordinary into the extra-ordinary. It lifts us, expands us. And it's infectious. People are attracted to passionate people and part of the reason is that passionate people exude something 'other' - an energy and a lightness of being that sets them aside from others and draws others to them. It doesn't really matter what you're passionate about, what matters is that when you feel inspired and excited by something you move into a different 'zone' where you tap into the infinite resources of the universe and you get into the 'flow'. Notice how good you feel when you're in the flow of your passion. And when you feel good you attract 'good' to you (you know about the Law of Attraction right?) and the spiral becomes lighter, higher, greater and fuller. It goes upwards instead of downwards.

We tend to think we have finite time and energy to 'spend' on different activities and experiences. The truth is that's an illusion, but it's where we mostly live our lives from. How would it be to start this new year by spending more time and energy on the things, activities and actions you feel passionate about? How might this expand you and your view of life?

In the last couple of newsletters I've mentioned YOFA (the Yoga of Alignment). Rebbie Straubing is the creator of YOFA and she keeps exceeding my expectations with everything she does. Last month I featured information about Sue Fraser's beautiful Rays of Emergence. This month she describes how she uses the Rays to do empowering Readings.

"A Ray Reading explains many things about who you are and why you are here. Some of these include:

  • Your overall mission here on Earth and the reason you came to this planet
  • Your personal connection to Source, and how you have contracted to express that connection
  • Your 'Star family' connections
  • Your soul vibration. Who are your soul family?
  • What is it that you have volunteered to do, in a practical way, with reference to your Ray blueprint?
  • How does your Ray make-up affect you mentally and emotionally?
  • What are the main lessons you have come to integrate, in order to share your gifts with the rest of humanity?

I use the information I have channelled on The Rays of Emergence, along with current information on the Rays, to present your Ray Blueprint to you.
