Welcome to the February issue of "Reconnecting."

I'm always fascinated by the creative process. As I compiled this issue the themes of oneness and unconditional love seemed to recur, so my feeling is that those are issues we're all connecting with right now. Once we begin to understand that we're all interconnected, all part of the whole, all aspects of the divine, then we realise that what's happening for you is also happening for me on some level, and vice versa.

Have you ever been in a group situation where one person voices their feelings or concerns, and suddenly everyone begins to voice similar feelings or concerns? Or where each person in a class or seminar shares something about themselves and you realise that everything everyone has said could also apply to you? We are truly not alone on this journey, no matter how isolated we may sometimes feel. I wrote last time about the deep sense of purpose we feel when we connect with others. What if we can begin to realise that we are already, deeply, inherently connected with all that is? What difference would that make in our lives?

The information in this issue centres around connections, oneness and love. Enjoy, and pass this newsletter on to anyone and everyone who might find be looking for more of these qualities in their lives.

Oneness - the Power of Deeksha

Last year I heard about a couple near me who give 'deeksha' - a transmission of divine energy.  Claes and Liliana Hackner have attended a 21-day process in India with the avatars Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma which enables them to facilitate deeksha.  At the time it registered as something interesting but I had lots going on and didn't follow it up.  Then a friend from New Zealand brought me a magazine which had an advert from a couple there who are doing this work as well, and suddenly it lit up like a huge bright star and I knew I had to find out more.

I contacted Claes and Liliana and they invited me to their home in Kingston Deverill (between Mere and Warminster in Wiltshire) to experience deeksha for myself. They told me that anyone can receive the gift of enlightenment or a state of oneness through this process.  Sri Bhagavan, who is like a 'power station' for this phenomenon, says enlightenment is a neuro-biological event - it literally changes the brain, shifting the power from one part of the brain to another and through that, your perception and experience of life is changed.  And this is what deeksha facilitates.

I have now had the joy of experiencing this work several times, and each time the process deepens and expands. I am aware of both subtle and not so subtle changes in my energy field, in my life and in my relationship to the world since my first experience of deeksha.

" Footsteps of the Soul" Training Programme with Pat Angove

Pat writes: "For me the new year will actually begin in March when the planet collides with an energy build-up in space that is going to mean much change.  As we journey towards ascension (the change from one dimensional energy to another), shifts of energy occur which speed up the process.  In March we will face the largest and most important shift so far.  I am telling everyone who is facing many questions and decisions about their lives to wait until March when all will become clearer about what our divine purpose is.  Right now we feel that we have a divine purpose but maybe don't know what it is or how to go about it - just wait for March and it will be clearer.  I don't know how the Earth will act when she collides with this energy, but we must be prepared for some big, big changes to happen."
