Welcome to "Reconnecting..." for December.

This is the first anniversary of this email newsletter and I would like to extend a very big thank you to all my readers, clients and students for being on this journey with me! Your love and support are very welcome.

As we come to the last days of this year it seems an appropriate time to take stock. We're all familiar with New Year's Resolutions and the disappointment that comes in their aftermath (ie. we didn't keep them ). So this time, how about doing something before the New Year to clear out your closets - the ones in your home and the ones in your mind? How about stopping, even in the midst of the run up to Christmas, and taking just an hour out of your life to sit and ponder:

What was good about 2006?
What did I love about it?
What were my challenges?
What did I learn?

And then to consider:

What do I want to create in my life in 2007?
What is stopping me?
What can I do to release those fears/situations/people from my life so I can move forward into an exciting and creative year?
What 'unfinished business' do I still have in this year that I could clean up before the New Year?

Book of the Month: The Power of Kabbalah by Yehuda Berg

If the only thing you know about Kabbalah is that Madonna is into it, this fab little book will enlighten you, in more ways than one. Dubbed as 'nothing less than a user's guide to the Universe', this book is set out in simple short chapters which mean you can dip in and out easily, picking up insights as you go. It takes each of our human foibles and pulls them apart - gently but firmly, offering solutions to all of the many ways in which we seek to trip ourselves up. But more than that, it takes the unexplainable - life, the universe and everything - and offers clear solutions and answers, based on the ancient Kabbablistic wisdom. Another gem from the "YOFA" site I told you about last month. I have downloaded the recordings of over an hour of meditations and they are simply wonderful! Four different recordings can be bought on the one CD or download:

Rays of Emergence with Sue Fraser

"We are all born with a Ray Blueprint. The format for reading this blueprint was originally channelled through Alice Bailey, early in the 20th Century from the Ascended Master Djwhal Khul, who is often referred to as ‘The Tibetan’.

Since the year 2000 I have been guided by this same Master to work with The Rays. I have researched every piece of information I could find on the subject, my main inspiration being Dr Joshua David Stone.

The way I have been personally guided to work with these amazing energies is through Inspirational Artwork - a set of Ray Mandalas - that I have painted, along with accompanying channelled verses and further information, given to me by Djwhal Khul. These are called ‘The Rays of Emergence’.

I have been urged to share this information now, even though the Mandalas are not yet complete. I also include Ray energy, particularly the regenerative qualities, in the skincare products which I am producing: ‘Essence of Light’. ‘Ray Sprays’ are also on their way for energy work, these will include essential oils, flower essences, crystal & sound energies."

The Inner Terrorist - A Message of Peace

"There is much disguised blame and fear at the moment as new waves of nuclear attack are being experienced. It is important that we look closely to see what is happening here, why we are resorting to blame and fear disguised even as we do so in terms of loving support for the planet and for our
leaders. It is merely a shred of our own collective anger, the anger each one of us contains in the Unified mind. It is inevitable that such fear and anger and so on, will manifest as more and more light waves are entering our earth and consciousness, but until we can be Pure Love, there is always going to be some shadow. The healing of the Planet in these times is admirable and essential but it is also of paramount importance that we look to the healing of ourselves. We must identify the rogues and vagabonds in our own mind, the terrorists, the power freaks, the murdering energies we incubate, all of us, and sit and take tea with them. Dialogue with them and create peace and reconciliation in places we have been to afraid to visit in our minds and hearts. We have to be warriors in this way. Warriors of our own selves, not beating ourselves up, but having the courage to really investigate our truth, entertaining ourselves with acceptance, love and compassion. As we begin to accept our anger and rage, our shadow, we can begin to feel compassion and mercy for ourselves and for each other thereby and witness the growing light and love that arises from this. Then the darkness will be brought into the light and made whole once more. We can no longer afford to scapegoat others. This went out with the Cross and our perpetuation of the story only damages us more. Let there be love, peace, harmony and accord in our heart and mind and this will manifest on earth for all Beings, including our planet.

'To all those who hurt and abuse you, speak ill of you, give them a place of honour in your garden.'
