Dear ,
How's your year shaping up?
I hope all good things are flowing to you.
For me, much of 2009 was spent immersed in the creation of The Language of Light and what an incredible experience that was. I'm honoured and delighted that so many of you have taken the opportunity to connect with this co-created book and to all those who have sent such loving comments and feedback, I thank you and appreciate you.
The New Year saw us move to a new home and I'm loving sitting at my desk looking out at trees and hills and seeing all kinds of birds in our slightly wild garden! The fact that we have an incredibly clear stream running through the back of the property is an added bonus. So really, all I've wanted to do since moving in has been to enjoy our new space and just be for a while - hence the silence on the newsletter front :-)
But 2010 is showing us its colours, and what possibilities and potential it seems to hold! The energies of this year are very different from last. I'm feeling a very held and yet spacious quality, as though I can just allow things to unfold in perfect timing and in perfect ways without having to do all that much to make them happen. It's all about alignment. When we are in alignment with our truth, our light, our highest self, all can flow to us naturally and with ease and we can be who we are without pretence or ego getting in the way. Then we can really shine and offer our unique gifts to the world.
A friend and colleague recently told me she is attracting more and more flow in her business as she lets go of 'doing' anything to attract customers and just aligns herself. In her words: "just cleaning out my own stuff, clearing up my energy, constantly aligning with my higher self and letting the mechanics of the universe do the rest, without me lifting a finger to consciously attract customers - and let me tell you, I almost have to fend off jobs these days... It's amazing. I'm doing nothing according to the book, and work keeps flowing in. It just finds me." I love it, don't you! There's a kind of sheen in the energy of this year, a shimmery silvery-golden quality that overlights everything; it feels like there is the potential for things to be just a little more gentle and perhaps easier than we may be used to.
I'm also feeling drawn now more than ever to really care for myself, to listen to my body, to honour my inner nudges, to step out of the way and allow life to reveal to me all that I need to know (and what I actually 'need' to know is almost nothing, really....). It seems this way of living is becoming more and more possible for more and more of us. This a new reality and we are living it!
I'm excited to announce some brand new courses and workshops this year and an extra-special venue from which to offer them. Further details below.

Since the launch of The Language of Light in December 2009 this little book has made its way to many corners of the globe! Thanks to all who have purchased it and enjoyed it. My hope has always been that this book will be a tool for your own inspiration

In the glorious Wiltshire countryside, overlooking a lake and surrounded by woods, fields and hills, Ashley Wood Farm is being developed as a seminar and workshop space. With beautiful self-catering or B&B accommodation options, a range of facilities and incredible views, this is the most wonderful space and I am so happy to have found it right on my new doorstep!
The April Golden Keys Light Intensive will be offered from the beautiful Fisherman's Lodge at Ashley Wood. Usually a self-catering lodge for holiday-makers, we will have full use of the space for the 4 days of the course (which does include rooms for those wishing to stay and make a retreat of it) including a terrace with views across the lake from which we can soak up the spring sunshine!

Detoxing Through Moving from the Dan Tien

in this one day Chi Kung workshop you will be encourage to focus on the Dan Tien, around the belly area, freeing up tension and encouraging a true connection with your centre. This helps clear the meridians and establishes a healthy flow of energy with more stability and balance in your movements. Using this connection with the Dan Tien is hugely beneficial as everything begins here; the Dan Tien moves all.

An exciting workshop is on offer in April in the UK by South African artist Shelley Adams. This Creative Awareness Art Workshop is designed to help you connect to your personal power through colour. The workshop is not designed to help you complete a masterpiece, but rather to expose you to as many different aspects of expression as the time allows. You will then be able to draw on these in your work in the future and apply the insights you receive along the way to your personal life path.
The 2-day workshop will guide you through new ways of seeing by using drawing and colour exercises to connect you to your personal power. Understanding what your energy does and taking responsibility for it, enables you to move through life with awareness.
