We're now into week three of the Golden Keys programme and it connects us with the third Key, Generosity.  From the still, silent space of Impeccability we begin to open, to expand, to unfurl into the light of a generous new day.  Our introspective space shifts to an acknowledgement of the game of life, the dance of life, the fun and play and the joy that is to be had if we would open our eyes and see the Light that we are and that is all around us!

Here is an extract from the Generosity chapter of my book, The Language of Light:


Generosity takes us into a completely new space.  It births us into a harmonious state of being that is unlike the previous two Keys yet perfectly prepared by them.  We have delved deeply inside ourselves in the cool turquoise and blue-lilac and we are now ready to lift out and up into a gentle new day.  The rays of sun-like Generosity warm our bodies and our spirits.  We feel ourselves opening to them, expanding and reaching out.  The pace begins to accelerate.  Having immersed ourselves in the cool still silence we notice that we can now bring more of ourselves into the light.  We are ready to engage, to connect, to share. 

From the void space of Impeccability we discover that there is sound and light, movement and potential awaiting us.  Inspiration strikes the open space and gently ignites us.  We are preparing for action, for the dynamic expansion that has been incubating in the silence.  Coral holds us steady in the light of unconditional love as we take our first tremulous steps. 

In generosity we no longer focus solely on ourselves and our journey.  We open our eyes and our hearts to experience the richness of life lived among others.  We cannot discover our fullness in isolation.  It is the interactions and interplay with others that shows us to ourselves:  magnificent; flawed; perfect; human. 

When we live generously we are willing to be fully present with another, to show up whole-heartedly in relationship.  We offer ourselves in all our truth and we open to be with and share with and discover another.  In generosity we are more interested in participating in the dance than in the perfection of the steps or the grace of the movements.  We give of ourselves and we receive what others have to offer us.  We dance.  We play.  We connect.  We feel the gratitude of being a part of the dance.  Sometimes we dance with heavy feet and little skill.  At other times we amaze and delight ourselves with our dexterity and polish.  It is not the talent or otherwise for dancing that concerns us.  It is to be in the dance.  It is to be the dance.

Are you willing to be generous with yourself?

What would need to change in order for you to be whole-heartedly generous to yourself and others?

Have fun exploring these ideas.  The coral and gold light of Generosity opens us to giving, joy, blessings, fun and play.  It invites us to share and connect, to expand and open to all that is available to us.

The Language of Light Book Launch!

After an appropriate period of incubation (almost exactly 9 months!) my book is finally almost ready to see the light of day.  I will be holding a launch celebration on Thursday 3 December at "Art At The Barn" Gallery, The Barn, Odstock, Salisbury from 6.30-9.00pm.  You are all most welcome to drop in any time to pick up a copy of the book, share a glass of bubbly or juice with us, nibble on some canapes and chat with other like-minded folk.
