Measures for Confusing Times
In the midst of these strange and somewhat confusing times, it can feel as if you're all alone or as if the world is really going mad (or even that you are).  Perhaps you feel downhearted about the state of the world, sickened by the ongoing atrociites, and wonder if there really is any hope for humanity. 

While things can certainly look bleak at times, we really are in the midst of an incredible 'Shift of Ages' and part of that is the falling of old structures, old ways of being and clearing on a personal and planetary level.

To help you stay centred at such times, there are many things you can do.

*Know that truly, we cannot know the bigger picture, but there really is one!  Keep the faith.  Trust that all is unfolding perfectly.

*Slow down, pause, breathe.........

*Disengage yourself from the collective consciousness which is rife with fear, anger and doubt (see Unplugging from the Collective Consciousness )

*Find people, activities, books and other resources that honour you, serve you and invite you into joy.

*Follow your inner nudges and REALLY listen to them.  Your soul/higher self/greater consciousness really does know who you are and why you are here.  It will guide you unfailingly if you take time to stop and listen.

*Honour yourself.  Follow your truth, not that of another.  Others can guide and support you, but you are the only one who knows what is true for you.

*Do not get caught up in the 'stories' and dramas of your own or another's life.  If you take a higher, broader perspective you may begin to feel that its not all so very serious after all, or that in fact the 'story' has been set up perfectly, to allow you to grow, evolve, heal...

*Use ho'oponopono.  This is - literally - a godsend in confusing or difficult times.  Read about it here

*Spend time in nature.  It is immensely healing, nurturing and resourcing.

*Focus on appreciation, on all the things in your life you are grateful for.  This automatically raises your vibration and you begin to feel better and to attract more positive energies toward you.

*Connect with whatever energies feel deeply loving to you, whether they be angels, animals, people who radiate love, flowers, crystals or whatever you are drawn to.

*Seek out others.  Join groups or if there are none in your area that resonate for you, form one of your own and invite others. Attend talks and workshops that appeal.  Join online forums on topics that you feel drawn to.

*There are many many tools, techniques and trainings out there.  Spend time researching them and at all times follow your inner guidance as to which would feel just 'right' to you.  When you get an inner 'hit' to connect with one, follow up on it.

*Do something that makes you laugh or at least smile! - often.

*Do not take everything you read or hear, especially in newspapers or on TV, as truth.  Be discerning and maybe even consider disengaging from the media altogether........most of what appears there is fodder for collective fear.  There are much more soul-enhancing activities to engage in - find some!

*Decide to enjoy your life, no matter what is going on in it, or around you.  You are the creator of your life!  Choose to live it like you'll never have another one.......Someone I know recently told me she is living her life now as if every day were her last - and wow, what a difference it has made to her, even in the small details.  Seize the moment!
