Hello again. I was chatting with a friend the other day about how much in our lives we have wanted to be 'in control'. Planning this, organising that, 'making' things happen and just plain old doing, doing, doing......And we both recognised that the most amazing and wonderful things happen in our lives when we stop all that, give over the reins to the universe and trust. Really trust. We find that by trying to be in control, we push things further away from manifestation and end up feeling we have no control at all! It's one of the really good cosmic jokes: the more we insist on controlling the more our energy becomes constricted and the less chance the universe has to bring us what we really want. My friend has come up with a simply beautiful idea for workshops and she has watched in awe as the process has unfolded, without any sort of trying or pushing on her part. She told me she has been living her joy with this idea and as she's been doing this the universe has been showering her with all sorts of unexpected gifts and blessings. The whole process has been one of lightness and excitement and appreciation. (Her workshops are called Soul Love and begin in November. Email her to find out more... Part of the reason the control mindset no longer works is that it is part of the 'old' way. As all around us is shifting and changing and evolving we too are being asked to shift out of old ways of being and move forward into our own higher truth. Do you notice you're been trying to do things the way you've always done them and finding they no longer work? Do you find yourself getting frustrated as your old patterns of behaviour trip you up? Each time you find yourself coming up against an apparent brick wall or your plans being thwarted, stop and breathe.... and ask yourself, what is my highest truth here? Is this goal, project, relationship, job, idea or whatever it is I think I want truly in alignment with who I am and who I am becoming? Would it be possible for me to acknowledge that the universe may have something even better in line for me if I let go of the outcome and aligned myself with my highest good, whatever that may be and however that may present itself?

Many people view August as holiday time and head off for sun, sea, mountains or whatever they need to relax and refresh. For some reason I've been guided to do the exact opposite and have come up with a plethora of workshops to offer during August! And again, it really wasn't planned that way, it just sort of evolved, so I know there is much flow around them and I'm excited to see how they all pan out........and as I've been having my own restorative quiet time this month I'm definitely ready to roll again now.

Centre for Colour and Chi Kung Open Evening and Launch!
Wednesday 30 July, 7pm
Brickworth Life Centre, Salisbury

We're delighted to announce the launch of the Centre for Colour and Chi Kung at the Brickworth Life Centre, near Salisbury, on Wednesday 30 July.

We've been working towards this for some time now, running one-day workshops since early 2007 and now developing an in-depth Core Programme which begins in September 2008. We and our students have been amazed and excited by the profound synergy of these two systems.

The Open Evening on 30 July runs from 7-9pm and is for anyone who is interested in finding out more about what we're up to............

We'll give you an insight into how Colour Chi Kung works and what it can do for you. You'll experience a taster of what we do and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and to hear from people who've benefited from the work. Some of you already know this work from our workshops and retreat. Why not come along and find out more about the Core Programme and how it will support you in whatever you are working with now, working towards, or dreaming of....

From 9pm we'll be holding a celebration for friends, colleagues, students and supporters.

Metatronic Healing Foundation Course

Late Summer Centering with Colour and Chi Kung:  Earth Element

In this one-day workshop we bring together two very powerful systems - Colour and Chi Kung - and tune into the wonderful late summer energies to focus on positive and practical ways to enhance your well-being. The late summer is a time for ripening, harvesting, gathering and celebrating what we have achieved so far, and we will explore the vibrant qualities of this time of year through colour, movement, meditation, visualisation and healing energies.

This is a practical, experiential workshop to connect with your body and your relationship with our wonderful planet. By deepening your connection to the Earth you will bring yourself more fully into the ever-present 'now' moment and will feel the security of the Earth's constant support. The Earth element also enables us to expand our focus, deepen our intentions and prepare to reap the benefits of all that we have sown in the previous cycles and seasons.
