Golden Journey
February 2009

I recently received an excited email from Melissie Jolly, founder of Colour Mirrors.  In it, she outlined the divine inspiration she had received about seven new golden colour bottles to add to the set of stunning coloured oils and essences she already creates.  “They are Gaia bottles,” she wrote, “for the golden age on a golden earth!”

I leapt up off my seat and danced about a bit (well not really but you know what I mean).

This felt like the ‘happening’ we had been waiting for.  For some time the energies had been in a holding pattern.  Just wait, I’d been told.  Be still.  There is much to come.  Wait…..

Commit to Life

A blog post I particularly liked.....from jesh at
http://jeshderoxweddings.blogspot.com/2008/09/commit-life.html

there is something surpassing beautiful
about the way kids commit to what they're doing.

if they're running,,, they're running.
if they're laughing, they're laughing.
if they're upset,,, it will be hard to miss ; )

one of my son Prevail's favorite games
to play with me is chase,
and it has become something of a daily ritual.

each time before we start he tells me
about the superpowerful,
so so fast engine he now has,
and how it will make him go too too faster than the world.

this morning, i couldn't help but become lost
in stunned appreciation as i watched him
rev up in preparation to launch from the starting line.

Sacred Mt Shasta
I first heard about Mt Shasta several years ago and was aware that it was a sacred site, but I did not have any particular pull to go there until this year.  Darryl and I were planning a trip to California to see San Francisco and the redwoods of Northern California. When a friend planted the idea in my mind that Mt Shasta was not far from where we would be, I felt the seeds of curiosity begin to grow.  Very quickly it became part of our planned trip and I felt clear that I was being called to the mountain for some reason though I didn't know what that was, and to be honest, I didn't feel the need to know.  It was enough to know that I needed to go there and that I would be given whatever information and guidance I required as the trip unfolded.

How Colour Enhances Our Everyday Lives
We all connect with colour on a daily basis through the clothes we wear, the furnishings in our home, the dizzying array of colours in nature – even traffic lights tell us when to stop and go according to their colour. Yet we tend to take colour for granted, not noticing the subtle and not-so-subtle effects colour has on us, and its potentially powerful impact in our lives.
