Deeksha
What is Deeksha?

Deeksha is a transfer of divine, intelligent energy. The deeksha process works by creating a neurobiological shift in the brain and awakening the energy centres (chakras) in the body. This shift in consciousness helps to free us from the suffering created by the mind, balances the body's natural health and healing energies and attunes the brain with the fields of unity, bringing an end to the illusion of apparent "separation”. Once initiated, it is a gradual awakening process that can lead us naturally to a lasting state of Oneness, inner peace, and well-being.

Why has Deeksha come at this time?

Deeksha has come at a time when our planet is going through a major evolutionary transition which is impacting our environment as well as our individual and collective consciousness. We are all connected to this process of purification and rejuvenation; in effect, we are this process!  In harmony with this transition, Indian sage and living Avatar, Sri AmmaBhagavan, has initiated the Mukthi (Enlightenment) Deeksha as an aid to our evolution into the collective Oneness state.

Does Deeksha belong to any particular belief?

Deeksha does not belong to any religion or belief, it is a ‘dogma free' universal energy that can be received by anyone, whichever path they choose to follow. It works uniquely and intelligently to connect you directly with the truth of your own being.

What is the neurobiological shift?

The deeksha balances energy from  the overactive thinking centres of the brain to the underactive frontal lobe calming centres. This ‘re-wiring' of the brain enables the senses to become free from the interference of the mind. When the senses are unclouded by the mind's interpretations, a natural clarity of perception occurs with accompanying feelings of joy, inner peace, connection and Oneness.

How does this connect with the planetary shift?

Each individual who awakens to their true, original state has an inter-connected effect on the whole, thus helping humanity on the path to complete global transformation. The more people who attain the Oneness state, the easier it will be for the rest.

Who can receive Deeksha?

Most people can receive deeksha including children.

Who can give deeksha?

The deeksha can be transferred by anyone who has received the transmission and training during a special process. The deeksha giver then works just as a channel for the energy to transfer to the receiver.

How is Deeksha transferred? What might I experience?

Deeksha is transferred by the deeksha-giver placing his or her hands onto the crown of your head, usually for about 1 minute. Experiences during the transfer can vary, sometimes strong, sometimes subtle.  The receiver may experience a tingling sensation in the head, or blissful energy flowing through the body, or you may not feel anything at all.  This is not so important. You can trust that no matter whatever you experience during the transfer, a process that is aligned with your true nature has been initiated that will lead you gradually (or sometimes suddenly!) into your Awakening.

I have found that for many people the experience becomes even stronger after the hands are removed from the head and can go on for some time afterwards.  We usually allow plenty of time after deeksha for you to experience these ongoing effects.

Further Information

'Deeksha' literally means ‘transfer of energy' and is the means through which a divine power is activated in the brain, initiating a neuro-biological process which can ultimately lead to enlightenment or awakening.  This takes place not through any act of effort on our part, but through an act of Divine grace.

Many people enter deep states of silence following the deeksha, often accompanied by feelings of peace, ecstasy, heart opening, and oneness.  Various physiological and emotional changes begin to take place as the sense of a separate ‘self' dissolves.

Each person's process and timing for this will be different, but once the sense of a separate self dissolves, people experience themselves coming into ever-deepening states of oneness. They experience union with creation, union with God/All that Is/the universe, and the cessation of inner conflict.

As the ‘self' disappears, so do cravings and addictions. Love, harmony and balance begin to permeate our lives, extending into all our relationships with people as well as into the arenas of education, career, and finances. As we deepen into states of union, we automatically become agents of transformation in the world around us.

Ultimately, as more and more people become enlightened, it is expected that we will reach a ‘critical mass', following which there will be a wave of mass enlightenment that sweeps through the whole planet. This will be the beginning of a Golden Age of peace, harmony and freedom!
